This reviewing process has been incredibly challenging and I have never worked so hard to improve the quality of an article before. I would like to say how much I have valued the rigorous reviews I have received. Each one has helped me to think more deeply and face the contradictions. I recognise that our open reviewing process is difficult and not always comfortable. However, I think it is a democratic way to conduct reviews and certainly in my case, has led to some deep learning.
